Serving with love, in worship and daily life.
Why We Serve
The life of Jesus was all about others. He came and gave everything He is (even to death on a cross) so that we me might experience God’s love through Him. He called and calls his disciples to do the same: to give of ourselves for the sake of others, especially those on the margins of society.
Service and worship go together; you cannot have one without the other. We believe in our worship of God we gain a “salty” character that brings flavour and life to our family and friends, our work and our communities.

How We Serve God and one Another
The Sunday Liturgy is the heartbeat of our parish life. Each week, we gather as a community around the altar to worship God through the ancient and beautiful rites of the Anglican tradition. From the opening procession to the final blessing, every element of our worship is designed to draw us closer to God and to one another.
We also serve by taking part in the celebration of the Sunday Liturgy, serving as greeters, acolytes, or readers of the Bible lessons, assisting in administering the Eucharist, singing in the Choir. These are all ways we serve each other and God during our weekly celebration of Christ’s presence amongst us. If you would like to take a more active role in Sunday worship, please speak the Priest (email link to Priest)
Twice a month, members of our parish gather to knit scarves, hats, and prayer shawls for the vulnerable in our community. Our gathering is also a place of fellowship and strength for those who meet.
Love knitting? Want to serve community through that love? Looking for fellowship?
