The Altar Guild
Serves under the direction of the Incumbent and is responsible for the preparation of the Sanctuary for our worship services.

Caring Hands Ministry
The purpose of this ministry is to provide shawls for the sick and shut-ins and hats, mitts, scarves for the children in the neighbourhood and to provide a venue for the women to have a place of fellowship.

Greeter Ministry
This important Ministry at St. Margaret’s in the Pines Anglican Church is dedicated to making anyone attending our worship services feel secure, confident and welcomed and foster the integration of visitors and newcomers with members of St. Margaret’s by introducing them to the Clergy, church leaders and members.

Intercessors Ministry
A member of the Intercessors’ Ministry participates in the regular worship service by reading the Prayers of the People.

Lay Administrators
The Lay Administrators are responsible for assisting in the weekly worship services as well as any other special services throughout the year. They assist the clergy in administering the sacraments of Holy Communion.

Outreach Ministry
Reaching out the people in need is the focus of Outreach Ministry activities. They share the gifts that God has given to each of us with the wider community.

Pastoral Care
This Ministry at St. Margaret-in-the-Pines Anglican Church uses the combined services of our clergy and members to provide pastoral care to our members who are not able to attend our weekly services and church events.

The Prayer Team
At St. Margaret-in-the-Pines is made up of about 8-10 dedicated church members who pray for and with members of the congregation who have asked for prayer for specific purposes

Readers’ Ministry
Members of this Ministry read the first and second lessons at the services. Ministry by the laity is as old as Christianity itself.

Servers’ Ministry
The main duties of the server consist of assisting the clergy at the Holy Eucharist and other services of worship.

Sidespersons’ Ministry
The Sidespersons coordinate the flow of people to the altar rail for prayer and communion, collect the offering during the offertory hymn and meeting the special needs of members of the congregation during the service.
